​SAFETY, HEALTH AND FALL PREVENTION

 

SENIOR POOL TIME

 

We are so excited to have special pool time reserved just for our Seniors on

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm!!!  At the Holiday Pool in Warren.

TRIKES

15 Trikes are available in Warren, Alvarado and Oslo.

​

SAIL (Staying Active & Independent for life)

The SAIL program aims to improve strength, balance, and fitness 

in older adults, ultimately their risk of falls and

promoting independent living.

​

TAI CHI

 

Aims to improve stability, core strength, and flexibility, while also promoting

coordination and mental well-being.

 

 

 

 

MOB (Matter of Balance)

The most widely implemented fall prevention program across

​

​

the country has to be highly effective in reducing the fear of falling

​

​

and increasing activity levels among older adults.

​

​

Lending Used Personal Assistance Supplies

Walkers, Canes, Toilet risers, Wheelchair etc. (Check out our inventory at Warren Office)

MORE SERVICES​

Nutritional Assistance Program for Seniors (NAPS)​

Each month we deliver to eligible seniors a box containing, variety of healthily, shelf-stable foods ​

like can fruits, vegetables, juice, milk, cheese, canned meat, peanut butter or beans, cereal, rice, or pasta.

 

 

 

 

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program (AFEP)  

 

Designed to help people with arthritis safely increase physical activity and manage systems.

Classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 - 11:30 at Landmark Center in Warren.

RESPITE CAREGIVER COMPANION AND CHORE

SERVICES

 

We have trained REST (Respite education and support tools)

Companion volunteers available.

Volunteer chore services are available.

 

Charges may apply to these services.

Rides are available to community members in our service area
